They make everything we do possible,” he says, highlighting the importance of strong foundations in football. As a veteran, Kaige has taken on a mentorship role with younger receivers like Terry Brown and Devin Salinas, emphasizing how they all help each other improve, particularly in route running and spacing on the field.</p><p>Kaige is quick to acknowledge the bond he shares with junior quarterback Dylan Burlingham, whose trust in his wideouts has been key to the Falcons’ offense. “Dylan finds us when we’re open, and he trusts us to make the play,” Kaige notes, stressing the importance of mutual confidence and teamwork.</p><p>The Falcons’ family-oriented culture, instilled by head coach Brandon Hanna, is something Kaige holds dear. “Coach Hanna and the staff always preach family and hard work. We push each other every day to get better, and that helps set the tone for the younger guys coming up,” he explains. It’s this mindset that has helped Kaige navigate the ups and downs of his high school career, from winning a regional championship as a sophomore to facing a challenging junior season.</p><p>One of Kaige’s most cherished memories is the unforgettable game against West Branch during his sophomore year. “It felt like a movie,” he recalls, smiling as he describes how the snow began to fall just as they secured the win. Moments like these stand out in a career filled with highs and lows, but Kaige remains humble. Rather than focusing on individual accolades, he wants to be remembered for the teams he played on and what they accomplished together.</p><p>A competitor at heart, Kaige thrives on the intensity of the game, whether he’s lining up on offense or defense. Yet, his perspective on respect stands out just as much as his play. “On the field, it’s all about competition. But once the game’s over, respect is key.
