The Cougars also took all three corner kicks in the half.</li><li>CUI turned up the pressure in the second half by putting all five of its shots on goal, but all those shots turned into a season-high five saves for CSUSM keeper Allison Marcure.</li></ul>QUICK KICKS<ul><li>Both teams accumulated seven shots for the game while CUI had the advantage in shots on goal at 5-3.</li><li>CSUSM tallied five corner kicks to CUI's one.</li><li>The Golden Eagles had the possession advantage, controlling the ball for 57% of the game.</li><li>Of CSUSM's possessions, 68% of them occurred in CUI territory.</li><li>Marcure's shutout was her third of the season and 31st of her career.</li><li>This was CSUSM's third consecutive shutout and fourth of the season.</li><li>This was the fifth tie in the all-time series between the Cougars and Golden Eagles and was the first to end scoreless.</li></ul>CSUSM will end non-conference play and begin a three-game road trip at Cal State East Bay on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. in Hayward.</div></body>
