The second episode of "The Golden Bachelorette" aired Wednesday night and Dan from Naples made an appearance.

But did he move on in the competition to win the heart of Joan Vassos, the Golden Bachelorette?

Vassos first selected a group of suitors to a Golden Prom, complete with retro tuxedos, dancing and even music from Taylor Dayne belting out he 1987 hit "Tell It To My Heart."

Dan was not selected for the fun.

Last chance for love on the show?

Dan spoke for the first time about an hour into the two-hour episode into when discussed how the bachelors were preparing for the Golden Talent Showcase.

He also discussed having a tremor and he was concerned about how he would appear in front of a large group.

"It can be embarrassing and awkward," he said.

Dan went in front of the audience and twirled ribbons and acknowledged he has tremors.

"Everybody's got something, especially at our age, right? We've got aches, pains, health issues, whatever. It's just life, and so own it, deal with it, and sharing with the whole audience feels good. It's invigorating."

He won the talent showcase and Joan invited him to a private dinner, where a string trio serenaded them.

"I'm honored, I'm humbled, it's very validating," he said. "I'm seeing a real connection between us. It's very real.

So did Dan receive a rose?

Joan praised him, saying: "That was really brave of you to do that and you were super silly and I love that you can be silly like that."

Dan told Joan how he's diabetic, and how a few years ago every organ in his body began to fail, he was seriously sick and was given six months to live. So, he told Joan, he stepped away from his business and focused on his health.

As everyone ages, they have health issues, Joan said, adding: "Very people go through life unscathed."

"That's what I want from life," she told Dan. "Clearly we had a really good connection tonight. I love how you view life."

She then gave him a rose, meaning he will continue on "The Golden Bachelorette."

Who did Joan send home on first night: Here's what you missed, how to watch episode 2

Joan explained how Dan told her, as they danced during dinner, "We really fit well together."

"I love hearing that," she said. "Yeah, I felt comfortable in his arms."

When is 'The Golden Bachelorette' on again?

The next one begins at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, on ABC7 (WZVN).
