<body><div><figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=2VCtOB_0vk46sRa00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=2VCtOB_0vk46sRa00" width="1534" height="859" ></figure><p>MANSFIELD, Mass.-Southern Connecticut men's soccer first-year student Jayson Dumont was named the Northeast-10 Rookie of the Week for Week 3, as announced by the NE10 on Monday, Sept. 23. </p><p>Dumont only played 12 minutes for the Owls and was able to net his first career goal to give Southern Connecticut a cushion in a 3-1 win against Queens.</p><p>The Owls are back in action today, Sept 25. at home against crosstown rival New Haven at 7 p.m. They'll also take on Saint Anselm on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. at Jess Dow Field. </p></div></body>
