Northwestern then rattled off an 8-0 run on Alysen Dexter's service, which saw Dexter collect two aces and Zavyr Metzger put up four blocks. It was all Northwestern from that point on, leading to a 25-21 win in the first frame.Northwestern's momentum carried them into the second, where they forced a Waldorf timeout at 12-5. The Raiders continued their strong play out of the break, scoring five of the next six points up to a 17-6 lead. Waldorf began to string some points together, but Northwestern was too efficient for their opponent, winning the second set 25-15Waldorf was the aggressor to begin set three, opening up a 5-0 lead before the Raiders responded with an 8-1 run of their own.
