I remember coach Kimble. I played quarterback for Parkway High School. My senior season was 1987. He had Thatcher Kelly, Rovelroe Swan (Spelling), James JT Taylor, Renard Robinson, and a host of other bonafide athletes. We lost at the end of the game. But it was a slugfest. Green Oaks won district that year and we were runner up. I’ll never forget it. Coach Kimble and Alan Carter and Steve Adams. Those guys/coaches were special.
