CASPER, Wyo. — Unseasonably high temperatures and gusty winds are cause for a red flag warning later today in Casper and central Wyoming. According to the National Weather Service in Riverton, today’s high will be 88 degrees and gusts of up to 30 mph are likely. Fire conditions are considered critical thanks to a combination of low humidity, high temperatures and gusty winds, they said. The warning is in effect from noon to 7 p.m. today.
