Mark your calendar for the Bob Evans Farm Festival October 11-13.

Myrt! Mark your calendar for the opening of the Candy Store on November 18th in Wellston at 1024 Pennsylvania Avenue and in Jackson at 269 Bridge Street, across from Dollar General

Parker’s Place in Jackson has three new pool tables.

A couple weeks ago I flew to Mobile, Alabama to meet my brother Rick, and sister Suzi. I had met my brother Bobby Wiles a couple years ago. We had the best time together. Rick cooked for me two nights and Suzi brought me baked spaghetti, a cake, and flowers. We went to Mississippi to gamble. To Florida to eat a couple times, and the night before I left, I had lobster ravioli! It was delicious. We hunted alligators, but due to a cloudy day, they weren’t out!

I had always known about them but their mom didn’t want them to know about me! Our Uncle Bob was supposed to tell them 22 years ago when our Dad passed away. All those wasted years!

You will be buying pumpkins soon. When done, put them in the woods for the deer and other animals to eat. Don’t put bleach in the pumpkins.

I read Schwann’s is ceasing their deliveries.

I heard a rumor of a new flower shop in Jackson.

Richard and Linda Whiteside, former owners of Jackson Tire, are leaving Jackson to live near their son in Grove City.

I received a call at 8AM Saturday morning from Fraud Division at Ohio Valley Bank asking if I authorized a $21.44 charge to Microsoft. I hadn’t. My sister in law and two sisters had charges to them also. Thanks OVB employees who help me eliminate the charge and get my money back. Also watch for a other charges you didn’t make!!

Thoughts to ponder-I hate it when I am talking to myself, and realize I wasn’t listening and have to start over!

Another thought-People don’t realize someone who lost someone dear to them change. Things change. Life changes. They are trying to learn to exist in a world with a part of them missing they had for so long.

Another thought-It is tough getting old. I went to an antique store and they wouldn’t let me leave!
