I'm in Savannah, GA and I can say the winds last night were a little scary, but now it's the power coming back on that is the problem.

Folks talk about "another hurricane, active hurricane season"? In 2004 I believe we had 4 hurricanes in about 6 weeks come through here, that's "active"! I'm a bit tired of "wannabe journalists" contorting facts. To hear these idgits tell it they call every storm "a hurricane" before it is & attempt to throw fear into the populace before anything actually happens. Most folks here in Florida have learned to be cautious, of course, but can navigate their way around all the media bullshite. Helena is/was a huge, dangerous stormto those in it's path, it happens here, it's a fact of life much like floods, drought, forest fires, heavy snow/ice are prevalent elsewhere.
