The Cats are 4-0 at home on the season. Bethel moved to 6-2-0 overall and 1-0 in the MSC.It was the 14th meeting between the two programs with the Blue Raiders holding a 12-2 advantage in the series. Bethel has won the last two meetings.It was the league opener for both squads.LWC is 0-5-1 overall and 0-1 in league play.The Lady Cats took a 1-nil lead at the 8:38 mark on a goal by Anna-McCall Johnson. Ainhoa Chriivella was credited with the assist. Bethel's McCall made it 2-nil a few minutes later after an assist from Leni Volker. The Cats maintained that margin at the break. The only goal of the second period came at the 2:23 mark on a goal by Lindsey Wilson's Silvia Marchesi. Bethel had a 24-7 advantage in shots and a 12-6 margin in shots on goal.LWC's Alida Leles recorded 10 saves while Bethel's Alicia Perez had four saves for the Wildcats.
