Animal Adventure hosting Winos for Rhinos

HARPURSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – Animal Adventure Park is inviting the community to raise a toast to its rhinos.

Animal Adventure and The Preserve is hosting Winos for Rhinos on September 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. The event will feature an afternoon of wine, beer, cider, and other beverage sampling stations as well as food trucks and live music from Travis Rocco. Guests will also be able to enjoy full access to the park.

Tickets include a wagon tour, all beverage samplings, and a souvenir tasting glass.

Wagons will run every 15 minutes from 4:30 to 6:30, loading from Animal Adventure Park and transporting guests to The Preserve for a 100-acre safari wagon ride amongst hundreds of animals, including the giraffes and Tank the Southern White Rhino.  Each wagon will have a Preserve Ranger on board hosting and educating those on the trek.

Animal Adventure is also offering a VIP experience. Doors will open at 3 for those with a VIP ticket for wagon loading and the safari tour. This package includes all beverage tastings, a souvenir tasting glass, and two special wine tastings on the safari tour at the rhino and giraffe exhibits. VIPs also receive a complimentary giraffe feeding at The Preserve.

Tickets are $50 for drinkers, $25 for nondrinkers. VIP tickets are $70.
