Imthume and E. Denton of Wabaunsee, and a 6-4 win over Saige Heiman and Zelma Krone of Beloit, finishing in 11th place in doubles.The duo of junior Jori Letourneau and sophomore Kinzee Motes, finished with a 2-1 record with a 6-0 loss over E. Kramer and A. Hendrickson of Clay Center, a 6-3 win over Heiman and Krone of Beloit, and a 6-2 win over Imthume and Denton of Wabaunsee, finishing in ninth place overall in doubles.Clara Gfeller and Zoey Saum of Chapman finished first in doubles.Clay Center would win as a team with a total of 52 points. Chapman would finish in a close second with 50 points.The Panthers travelled out west to Phillipsburg on September 17 to compete in the five team round robin Phillipsburg invite, finishing in third place.Concordia had a first round bye in the five round competition.Senior Kacie Price finished third in number one singles, with a 2-2 record. A round four 8-4 victory over Layla Puga of Norton gave her the bronze medal over Taylor Koehn, who had a bye in round five.Price ended the day with an 8-7 win over Koehn in round two, an 8-2 loss against Hannah Vague of Ellsworth in round three, an 8-4 victory over Layla Puga of Norton in round four, and an 8-1 loss to Valorie Solida of Phillipsburg in round five. Hannah Vague of Ellsworth finished in first place for number one singles.Concordia’s Eggert, in her second varsity competition and first in the number two singles level, earned the bronze medal, going 2-2 on the day. In a decisive round four, fourth place Brilynn Lopez of Scott City suffered an 8-0 loss to Gabby Poels of Phillipsburg, which created an opening for Eggert to move into third, which she took with an 8-1 win over Seanna Hanlon of Norton, and due to a round five bye, Lopez couldn’t respond. Eggert ended with an 8-2 win over Lopez in round two, an 8-0 loss to Karli Haase of Ellsworth in round three, an 8-1 win over Hanlon of Norton in round four, and an 8-3 loss to Poles of Phillipsburg. Karli Haase of Ellsworth finished first for number two singles.The duo of Genereux and Rugg finished fourth in number one doubles with a 1-3 record. The duo finished with an 8-1 loss to Kaylee Felker and Finley Edwards of Scott Community in round two, an 8-0 loss to Felis De La Cruz and Elena Jundt of Ellsworth in round three, an 8-7 loss to Hannah Kennedy and Ryann Moffatt of Phillipsburg in round four, and an 8-0 win over Rylie Linner and Natalie Eveleigh of Norton in round five.
