Jim Cantore is kind of like death and taxes when it comes to a hurricane — inevitable.

The Weather Channel rock star heads toward the eye while everyone else is running for the hills.

So, as Hurricane Helene continues to barrel toward Florida’s Big Bend, droves of folks are obsessing over where the heck he is.

As expected, right in the middle of the action, as per a Facebook page dedicated to tracking the 60 year old’s comings and goings.

On Wednesday, Cantore was in Port Richey , just south of Hudson Beach in Pasco County near the Gulf of Mexico, but then he kept moving.

On Thursday, the meteorologist did an 8 a.m. advisory from Tallahassee, where the monster storm is expected to make landfall as a Category 3 later tonight. Helene is predicted to bring 100+ mph winds inland to the state capital and up to 20 feet of life threatening storm surge to parts of the Gulf Coast.

“No surprise to anyone we now have a 100 mph Hurricane Helene which is making its way north to northeast at over 10 mph,” says the intrepid weatherman, getting pelted by rain. “It’s going to continue to accelerate, it’s gonna continue to develop.”

While he didn’t come right out and say Helene would smack the state capital head on, he predicted that she would just continue to intensify.

“It’s already pushing that water up toward this area,” he said. “That only gets worse as you go on through the day.”

Cantore ended his soaked feed with a few words of caution.

“All of your preparations should be done. If you were asked to evacuate, I hope you have.”

The weather channel has no meteorologists, they’re all paid actors. Paid to sensationalize the story with very little fact.

A few years ago he was broadcasting while standing in waist deep water. He must have been standing in a culvert because while he spoke a very old lady walked her small dog down the sidewalk behind him!🤪
