The 36-hole invite begins on Saturday with tee times starting on both hole 1 and 10 at 9 a.m. The final round will begin with a shotgun start on Sunday at 9:30 a.m.</p><p>A total of 79 individuals are expected to compete from 11 teams including Southwest Minnesota State, Augustana, Bemidji State, Briar Cliff, Chadron State, Minnesota State, MSU Moorhead, Minnesota Crookston, Morningside, Northwest Missouri State and Sioux Falls.</p><p>SMSU will tee off on Saturday starting on hole 1 at 9:56 a.m.</p><p>Augustana has won the past four team titles, including a tournament record score of 589 (+13) last season. Lanie Veenendall from Augustana captured the individual title last season with a even-par 144.</p><p>SMSU, which finished tied for seventh out of 12 teams at the 2023 invite, has won the team title twice (2000 &amp; 2005) during the 25-year history of the event.</p><p>This weekend will be the fourth competition for SMSU this fall. The Mustangs last competed on Sept. 16-17 at the Fall Brawl in Hudson, Wis., placing sixth out of 11 teams.</p><p>Freshman Mallory Uselman leads the team through six rounds with a 79.7 average with senior Danielle Podoll ranking second at 80.8, while junior Isabella Jacobs is third at 82.7.</p><p>Following this weekend, SMSU will conclude its fall schedule at the Midwest Classic Invite on Oct. 14-15 in Maryville, Mo. </p></div></body>
