(Lansing, MI) – The Michigan House has passed a bill to provide schools with 126-million-dollars to use for mental health and school safety programs. Those had been cut earlier in the budget negotiations, angering minority Republicans in the House and Senate. The House passed the bill by a 98-to-11 vote and majority Democrats say they heard the complaints from school leaders “loud and clear.”
