Those three opponents hold a combined record of just 3-9.</p><p><b><i>Dan Eyrich, AP Sports</i></b></p><p>The EP Football Panthers will be looking to end a two game losing streak as they host Mercer County on Friday in Prophetstown for homecoming.</p><p>The Panthers, 2-2, fell last week 41-0 to Rockridge after taking a loss at the hands of Newman the previous week. Head coach Tyler Whitebread said he feels the Panthers have come through the toughest stretch of their schedule and are now looking to benefit from the tough competition to renew their push to the five win playoff plateau.</p><p>Connor Keegan and Demetree Larsen should return to the lineup this week after both sitting out the Rockridge game with injuries. With more offensive weapons available Whitebread feels his team will be able to get back to putting up some big numbers on the scoreboard.</p><p>The Mercer County Golden Eagles will provide the competition for the homecoming contest as they continue their inaugural season in the Three Rivers Conference.
