Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani seemed to frustrate Newsmax host Bianca de la Garza after he used the indictment of Mayor Eric Adams to complain about his own case.

After charges against Adams were announced Thursday, the Newsmax host spoke to Giuliani for analysis.

"So how does the case against Eric Adams play out?" she asked.

"I remember about three years ago, the FBI raided my house and my law office ," Giuliani opined. "And everybody said, where there's smoke, there's fire. They wouldn't raid them if they're not going to prosecute them and convict them."

"A year and a half later, very embarrassingly, they, I got them to, I required them to write a letter to the grand jury," he continued. "You know what the letter said? There is no evidence that Rudy Giuliani committed any crime and no probable cause to go forward with this."

"Certainly, your case is not Eric Adams' case," de la Garza interrupted.

"So the press that day was fake news, and they never corrected it," Giuliani ranted. "It's a letter to the grand jury from the U.S. attorney saying no evidence that Giuliani committed a crime."

The Newsmax host tried to steer Giuliani back to the charges against Adams.

"But do you think, you know, the comments he's made regarding this [Biden] administration, some are saying, you know, maybe didn't help him here with this particular investigation?" she wondered.

"Look, Bianca, he wasn't, his first assistant that was raided was on the very day he was going to the White House with two other mayors to complain about Biden," Giuliani asserted. "So I don't know if he's innocent or guilty. I can tell you he wouldn't have been prosecuted if he didn't criticize Biden."

"We do know there was a search of Gracie Mansion undertaken just this morning after the indictment," de la Garza observed. "So it seems like the investigation is continuing."

"Well, they searched me, too, and I was completely innocent, and they had to admit it," Giuliani fumed. "So please, if you want to be an American and you want to enforce the Constitution and you believe in constitutional liberties, well, then you've got to argue it for your enemies as well as your friends."

"That's what Donald Trump and I and all of us want for us, and we haven't gotten it."
