( Per NJ Independent COVID -19 Report) They also admitted, many children will never catch up and that NJ is 2-3 years behind in teaching literacy. Governor Murphy JUST signed a literacy bill.</li></ol><ol><li>NJ is a wonderfully diverse state , but also is the sixth most segregated school system in the nation. Deserving students are locked in failing school districts due to home rule ( zip code) with no way out.</li></ol><ol><li>NJ teachers pay the highest union dues in the nation with a significant portion of those dues going to politics rather than classroom safety and support and improving teachers salaries. This maybe a reason for the teacher shortage?</li></ol><ol><li>Some in attendance of this fundraiser are NJ leaders of education. ?</li></ol></div></body>
