    Agree that it should be raised but maybe incrementally over the next 4 years, while Congress figures out how they will replenish the already depleted SSDI/SSI/SSDB Fund. The fund will go bankrupt in less than 10 years if they do this. Current retirees paid in their share and their Social Security Benefits get taxed again before they even get a check. That is double taxation. Seems to me that should be illegal, and our nation's founders were againat that. How would every working person like it if their boss said he was taking an extra 35% more out of their check for "operating costs"? Yeah, bet they wouldn't like that, would they! Food for thought.

    yes come on don't be cheap what can 255 do? and you take back their SS for that month not right it belong to them.
