Nikki Hawkins, Director of Communications and Student Services at Stuttgart Public Schools, said the district will celebrate homecoming next week.</p><h2>SHS Homecoming</h2><p>Stuttgart will hold its homecoming parade, crown the 2024-25 queen, and cheer on the Ricebirds next Friday, Oct. 4.</p><p>This year’s Stuttgart High School homecoming court includes Mya Berry, Kailey Bishop, Regan Buerkle, Anna Kate Bulloch, Dawson Freemyer, Jada Hillman, Kimmorah Jackson, Molly Maynard, Emily McKinney, Tillie Nall, and Danaye Poole.</p><p>Hawkins encourages parents to stay aware of district news ahead of homecoming festivities.</p><p>“I am sure social media and the school websites will be flooded with information this week regarding homecoming. Please stay in tune with your students’ social media pages and websites because that is where the most pertinent and up-to-date information will be,” Hawkins said.</p><h2>Meekins Middle School tutoring</h2><p>Meekins Middle School launches its tutoring program this week.</p><p>“Parents, please make sure that if your student is selected to be a part of the tutoring program, they attend every day they are supposed to. Please help us in that effort to ensure they get the help and attention they need,” Hawkins said.</p><h2>Athletics</h2><p>Stuttgart’s ninth-grade football team will face the Helena Central Cougars at home tonight, with kickoff at 6:30 p.m.</p><p>The senior high football team will travel to Helena tomorrow. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.</p><p>“I know they are ready to hit the field again, especially after a bye week,” Hawkins said.</p></div></body>
