State troopers arrived at mile marker 1.4 around 10:35 p.m. after receiving reports of a car crash involving a single vehicle.</p><p>According to New Hampshire State Police, the driver, Fredi Lopez De Leon, lost control of his white 2016 Lexus IS-300, left the road, and struck several trees. The impact split the car in half. Salem Fire Department responded and extracted Lopez De Leon, transporting him to a nearby field for a helicopter evacuation to Boston.</p><p>Troop B of New Hampshire State Police and the Department of Transportation assisted on the scene, closing a travel lane for about two hours while investigating the crash. Authorities continue to investigate and urge anyone with information to contact Trooper Matthew Howe.</p><p>Lopez De Leon was traveling at high speed before the crash, witness reports confirmed.
