<div>Following is a report submitted to the Herscher Pilot from Herscher Police Chief, Kurt Quick, regarding the crash that took place on Friday, September 20.Unit 1 black 2011, Jeep driven by Seadet Dzabiri, from Braidwood Illinois, was traveling northbound on 13000 West road at approximately 1000 South road. Unit 2 Blue 2008 Ford pickup driven by William Vanwassenhove, Cabery Illinois, pulling a trailer full of hay was parked on the roadway 13000 west road. William was out of the vehicle adjusting hay on the trailer when Unit 1 struck the rear of Unit 2 trailer causing William to get pinned between the trailer and pickup. William was transported to Riverside Hospital and then air lifted to University of Chicago where William remains in critical condition. The driver of Unit 1, Seadet Dzabiri, was issued citations from the Kankakee County Sheriffs Department, for no insurance and failure to reduce speed to avoid collision.The Kankakee County Sheriffs Department was assisted by Herscher Police Department, Herscher Fire Department and Riverside EMS. </div>
