The 2-2 Coldwater Cardinals host Parma Western at 7 p.m.At Tibbits Opera House, CRUSH, a Bon Jovi cover band, begins its show at 7:30 p.m. On S. Monroe, Jay Fox and the Jammin' Germans Band, along with the Barvarian Tänzer Dance Troupe out of Fort Wayne, entertain throughout the evening. The Broadway Grill will serve Michigan craft beer from area breweries. Food trucks will provide German and standard fare, and fall-themed desserts will be sold. The restaurants and bars in the downtown Social District will also be available. Baker noted that, unlike Hops On Monroe, this street party is only for those 21 and older. There is also a $5 cover charge. The city said in planning that it picked the Sept. 27 date because of entertainment availability.The forecast calls for temperatures in the mid-60s, with late evening rain carrying over to Saturday. Smokestack Jack and REKT perform from the park stage during the event. Food vendors like El Taco Loco and Crockett BBQ will provide food. Advanced tickets online are available for $35, and VIP tickets are $50. Each admission ticket gives you 10 to 15 tickets and a glass to sample the beverages. Tickets can be purchased at the gate. VIP tickets provide reserved parking and other commemorative swag. Designated driver tickets are $15. The event also holds a homebrew contest for those who brew their own beer.
