The host Mustangs jumped out in front early, holding their lead on the way to handing the visiting Royals on a bright night.Morgan Leslie gave EMU something to cheer about, scoring her first goal of the season and the 24th of her career.Highlights• Stevenson asserted themselves early, scoring four goals in the first quarter. EMU goalkeeper Gracyn Arruda held her own against the Mustangs’ attack, making six saves in the opening 15 minutes.• After another Mustang goal early in the second quarter, the Royals took advantage of a penalty corner opportunity.
