    York Revolution on cusp of Atlantic League title

    YORK, Pa. (WHTM) — The York Revolution are one win away from the Atlantic League Championship and it could come at home.

    The Revs downed the Charleston Dirty Birds on the road in West Virginia Wednesday night 19-4.

    They lead the best-of-five series 2-0 and could clinch it this Friday at Wellspan Park.

    “We’re all nervously excited for tomorrow night,” Eric Menzer, President of the York Revolution, said. “You know, we have a two game lead and this is the core of what we do, so the fans who come tomorrow night, it’s really about the baseball. And I hope what they see is an outstanding baseball game and another Atlantic League championship.”

    Tickets are still available and first pitch is at 6:30 p.m.
