<body><div><p>Sept. 26, 2024 – DeSoto County Dream Center, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to Title 1 school students and their families in DeSoto County, is proud to announce the results of the DC Race 5K. This highly anticipated event took place on Sept. 21 at Compel Church Olive Branch Campus.</p><p>It was a beautiful day with 154 runners and walkers joining together along with over 65 volunteers and 10 vendors. It was a family friendly day with games and activities for everyone.</p><figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=0GCUWN_0vlBgC7m00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=0GCUWN_0vlBgC7m00" width="1280" height="854" ></figure><p>With the support of the community, we were able to raise $45,000 to help support all the programs at the Dream Center. All proceeds from the race helps the Dream Center to continue providing food, clothing, healthcare and education through their programs. </p><p>The DeSoto County Dream Center uses the fundraising even to make a significant impact and bring about positive change in the DeSoto County community. </p></div></body>
