If you look at their sales circulars, they are already putting the same stuff on sale and at a price within pennies of each other. A monopoly is going to suck for the average household.

So what about the proposed sale of the Albertsons/Safeway store locations to another grocer which has been duscussed in the media? Bring in a new player. One discussion was reported that the Albertsons/Safeway trademarks would be included in the sale.Ever notice it is far left attorneys general who are opposed to this merger? I will repeat the question others have asked what happens if Albertsons/Safeway files bankruptcy and shuts down?
