YCHS’s ‘Aladdin Kids’ feels like a lil’ magic carpet ride

Yuba City High School’s musical theater class has readied a heartful and colorful presentation of “Disney’s Aladdin Kids" within the span of about a month.

“Disney’s Aladdin Kids" is a short story based on the classic 1992 Disney film “Aladdin.” In that film, the story follows a young street-smart man who discovers a magical lamp, unleashing a genie who helps him win the heart of princess Jasmine while battling the villainous sorcerer Jafar.
