Smart! Look at the people vying for seats in one of Cali's most corrupt cities, council (Live Oak, CA.)! It is about land use. Each represents a Special Interest group, it is just being veiled. You see, there are individuals and families around here, pretending to be ranchers and farmers but they are only after money, and did so to off load land at an incredible premium and become filthy rich! Look what's going on at SR-113 and SR-99. Given the current traffic in Yuba City ( laughable to require 3 light changes to cross SR-99 at SR-20, West bound), the last thing we need is another thousand units down there! Or ANYWHERE- Live Oak, Biggs, Gridley..... Urban road projects are exponential in nature, and if you are college educated, you already realize this is not only not sustainable, it is already reaching the epidemic level. Geesh. Trying to explain, but it won't help, because if people truly understood, they would by now have stopped this madness!
