I know people died in this storm, as trees are always a danger, but the hype over this storm was way out of proportion. People were scared to death. And we got rain. Just lots and lots of rain. Not even thunder and lightning. I had an empty plastic flower pot on the porch bannister and it never moved. The media is outrageous when it comes to sensationalizing. This is why a lot of people have stopped paying attention to weather forecasts.
