Stockton, son of NBA Hall-of-Famer John Stockton, and Okafor, the third overall pick in 2015, highlight the names in the deal ahead of the Valley Suns’ inaugural season this fall. Okafor and Brooks were two of 14 players selected by the Valley Suns in the 2024-25 Expansion Draft in June.The 31-year-old, 5-foot-11 Stockton played college basketball at his dad’s alma mater, Gonzaga, and is an eight-year G League veteran.More on Stockton from the team’s press release on the move: “Stockton played with the G League Ignite in the 2023-24 Winter Showcase where he averaged 6.5 points and 4.8 assists in four games before spending the remainder of the season playing for Arecibo in Puerto Rico.
