He had touchdown receptions of 81 and 91 yards. </li><li>In his second career start, sophomore quarterback Ryan Whitney completed 16 of 26 passes for 339 yards and two touchdowns. He became the first Fisher quarterback to throw for more than 300 yards since Hunter Walsh threw for 324 in a 31-28 win over Alfred in November 2019. </li><li>Senior running back Peyton Nolan rushed for 143 yards and a score in his season debut. It was his fifth career game with 100 rushing yards or more. </li><li>Fisher rushed for 250 yards in the contest. Since the beginning of last season, the Cardinals have rushed for at least 200 yards five times. </li><li>Fisher beat Wilkes 29-20 in the first-ever meeting between the teams last season in Pittsford. </li></ul><h2>Women's Soccer </h2><p>The Cardinals (3-3-1, 1-1 Empire 8) host Utica at 7 p.m. Wednesday and face SUNY Poly at 1 p.m. on Saturday in Utica. </p><ul><li>The Cardinals have lost back-to-back games since their stretch of three wins in four games in the middle of this month. </li><li>The Cardinals are 10-7-4 against Utica since 2005. Three of the last five meetings have been draws. </li><li>Saturday's game will mark the first Empire 8 contest between Fisher and SUNY Poly. </li><li>Junior forward Madelyn Wania is tied for the Empire 8 lead with 11 points through seven games. </li><li>Wania leads the league with 17 shots on goal and 31 total shots.</li></ul><h2>Men's Soccer</h2><p>The Cardinals (2-2-3, 1-0-1 Empire 8) face Utica at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Trinity College (Conn.) at 11 a.m. Saturday on the road. </p><ul><li>The Cardinals tied Geneseo (0-0) last Saturday for their third draw of the season. </li><li>The Cardinals are 13-7-1 against Utica since 2005. They own a 6-4 mark on the road in that span. </li><li>Saturday's contest will mark the first between Fisher and Trinity. </li><li>Fisher goalkeeper Christian Burkhart leads the Empire 8 with four shutouts. </li></ul><h2>Women's Volleyball</h2><p>The Cardinals play Johnson &amp; Wales in their home opener at 6 p.m. Friday at the Manning &amp; Napier Varsity Gym. </p><ul><li>The Cardinals (6-6) went 2-1 last weekend at the Bengal Challenge in Buffalo, beating Pitt-Bradford 3-0 and Buffalo State 3-2. They lost 3-1 to Capital. </li><li>Junior libero Kiera Hartpence needs 41 more digs to reach 1,000 for her career. </li><li>Junior setter Reilly Morrow has 1,383 career assists. She needs 118 more to move into the top 10 in Fisher's record book. </li></ul><h2>Field Hockey </h2><p>The Cardinals (3-6, 1-0 Empire 8) face Utica at noon on Saturday in Utica. </p><ul><li>The Cardinals have won 11 straight games against Utica dating back to 2015. </li><li>Senior forward Molly Fisher enters the week tied for the Empire 8 lead in goals (7).
