This led to another Cooper score as they pushed their lead to 13-0. After Plainview forced a turnover, they would march down the field and convert on a field goal to cut the lead to 13-3 going into the half.Lubbock Cooper took the opening kickoff and drove all the way down the field and capped of their long drive with a touchdown to push their lead to 20-3. After another forced turnover the Plainview Bulldogs got into the endzone for their first touchdown of the night, 20-10 Pirates. Cooper would respond with a field goal to make it a 23-10 game at the end of the third quarter.The 4th quarter got off to a slow start, but things would pick after the Pirates scored a touchdown to cement their lead at 30-10. The Bulldogs refused to go away quietly as they responded quickly with a touchdown of their own to move the score to 30-17. That score would hold as Lubbock Cooper would move to 1-0 in district.The Lubbock Cooper Pirates (4-1) will take on Legacy next Friday at 7:00 PM.</div></body>
