Artists sought for juried art show

ELKTON — The Cecil County Arts Council seeks artists of all ages to enter its 25th Annual Juried Art Show to be held in October at their gallery, 135 East Main St. in Elkton.

Submissions will be taken through Oct. 2. There will be a reception Oct. 4 as part of First Friday in downtown Elkton. Artists must submit three pieces to the council office Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The cost is $10 per piece to enter.

A juror will award 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes as well as honorable mention. There will also be a People’s Choice Award chosen by those who view the gallery show during October.
