He leaves with a record of 172-224 and numerous District XI playoff appearances, including a runner-up finish in 2006.The Blue Devils baseball team posted to Facebook thanking Maksimik for his 22 years of service, saying he had “molded some special student athletes that went on to excel in sports, college, and the workforce.”“You will be sadly missed on the diamond this year,” they wrote. “We wish you the best in your next chapter.”The Minersville Area School District called Maksimik “a class coach who was always a pleasure to deal with” on Twitter/X.</div></body>
