A sophomore from Shenzhen, China, Zhang finished third in the 75-player field, shooting 70-75--145 in two rounds at the Club at Old Hawthorne. That performance came on the heels of her runner-up finish at the season-opening MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial on Sept. 9-10.
