From the mystical to the macabre, the whimsical to the wondrous, prepare to be spellbound by the creative forces unleashed within “The Imaginarium.”Our esteemed jury committee will be bestowing cash prizes upon the top three conjurers of creativity during the bewitching October 5th opening reception. And that’s not all! The enchantment continues with a guest favorite award, a testament to the artwork that casts the most potent spell on our visitors. Join us for an afternoon of artistic alchemy at the Opening Reception on Saturday, October 5, from 1-4pm.Member Artist of the Month: Silvia Trujillo—Silvia Trujillo, a landscape painter extraordinaire, invites you to step into her world of “en plein air” mastery—painting directly from life. With a brushstroke that dances with light, color, and atmosphere, Silvia captures the very soul of the scenes she paints. Her artistic journey, spanning over 30 years, has graced museums, captivated collectors, and garnered numerous accolades.Messy Hands for All: Exquisite Corpse—Come try your hand at a fun drawing game that was invented by a group of surrealist artists in Paris in 1925. Papers are folded in thirds, with a different person drawing the head, body, and legs without seeing the other parts. Crazy and creative drawings ensue. This month, Messy Hands is happening in our upstairs classroom on Saturday, October 12, from 1:30-3pm. Supplies provided. A $5 donation is recommended.Gift Gallery—Don’t miss the magic in our gift gallery, where you’ll unearth treasures that transcend the ordinary.
