Strahan appeared ahead of watching his Giants take on the Dallas Cowboys to kick off Week 4 of the 2024 NFL season.

He took his seat on the set alongside Charissa Thompson, Tony Gonzalez, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Andrew Whitworth and Richard Sherman.

Strahan usually appears on Fox’s NFL coverage on Sundays.

His cameo on TNF was to promote a new Prime show for which he is an executive producer.

Strahan is part of the team that made the documentary “The Evolution of the Black Quarterback.”

“I’m excited for everybody to see how far black quarterbacks have come,” Strahan said Thursday.

“It’s really not just a black quarterback story, it’s a celebration of players who went through so much.

“It’s the past guys, who inspired the current guys, who are going to inspire the future guys.

“To see the struggle that these guys went through – it’s actually a celebration.

“That’s what I love about it and I think it’s something the NFL can be proud of.”

Strahan played for the New York Giants for 15 years and was part of their Super Bowl-winning team in the 2007 season.

His show features former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick interviewing stars like Dallas Cowboys signal caller Dak Prescott.

“Michael Vick was the best guy to tell this story,” Strahan said.

“He’s old enough so the older guys respect him, but he’s young enough so these young guys idolize him.

“His conversation with these guys and what they’ve gone through was really inspiring.”

Michael Strahan is one of the most recognizable faces on television.

But he came into his media career off the back of a hugely successful stint in the NFL.

Strahan spent 14 years all with the New York Giants from 1993 to 2007.

He was a seven-time Pro Bowler and helped them win the Super Bowl in 2007 – ending the New England Patriots’ hopes of a perfect season.

Strahan was also a two-time NFL sacks leader and also won Defensive Player of the Year.

The ex-Giants star set the single-season sack record with 22.5 in 2001 – a feat which was matched by J.J. Watt exactly 20 years later.

He is one of the best defensive stars to have ever played the game – finishing with 141.5 career sacks and 854 tackles.

Former NFL star Strahan is part of the Fox crew for their pregame show on Sundays.

He is joined by the likes of Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Jimmy Johnson and Rob Gronkowski.

Strahan watched his Giants slip to 1-3 with Thursday’s defeat by the Dallas Cowboys.

The team failed to score a touchdown in the 20-15 defeat at MetLife Stadium.

While Cowboys quarterback Prescott, who is a star in Strahan’s show, threw two scores to CeeDee Lamb and Rico Dowdle.
