More rain is expected Friday evening and through the weekend as the remnants of Hurricane Helene push tropical rains in our direction. Scattered showers will push north into the area for the evening. Friday evening's football games will likely get wet. This first wave of showers should exit the area rather quickly with some clearing clearing skies after midnight. It will also be windy on Friday with gusts over 30 mph likely by Friday evening and overnight. Low temperatures tonight will fall into the 60s.

Winds should relax on Saturday. We'll be between bands on Saturday so we should stay mainly dry during the morning and afternoon but sunshine might be limited. Another round of Helene's rains will arrive Saturday late afternoon or early evening. None of this rain looks heavy. Highs on Saturday will climb into the middle and upper 70s.

More scattered rain showers are likely Saturday night and on-and-off through Sunday. Rain will linger into early next week slowly increasing rainfall amounts. Highs through the weekend will be in the 70s.

    What To Expect:

    • Temps staying closer to the norm
