Roseburg Public Library has a slate of programs scheduled for youth this fall. A city release said Storytime is a mainstay, and the library’s first event will be a special program to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in the community. On Wednesday, October 2nd at 10:15 a.m. Youth Services Librarian Aurora Ropp will have a program with stories, songs, movement, rhymes and a craft. This is for children ages 2 to 5 and their caregivers. Following Storytime, the Friends of the Roseburg Public Library will thank those who have helped fund the local program. The event will end with a social hour. Light refreshments for children and adults will be served.
