I’m all for protecting our kids on playgrounds. That said - Growing up we had hot metal slides, crazy jungle gyms, that spin around metal thing we flew off of. Concrete under our feet. See-saws. We did it all and loved it. Nobody cried to mommy. We got up and kept going. Nobody inspected anything. Never heard of law suits or liability. We have gotten soft!
