Overbearing ,energetic ,positive ,funny and cool. Was there a career you wanted to pursue OR pursued before teaching.Used to be a personal trainer and did professional bodybuilding Tell us about how you got into teaching. So when I was a little girl my grandma was like “Nikki nay you’re going to be a teacher one day,” and I taught on all my barbies.What do you do outside of school for fun? Why? I’m really boring, I watch movies.When people get to know you, what are they most surprised to learn about you? I’m a walking sob story. I have a lot of sadness going on. My dad died when I was 3. He was shot and killed , so my mom raised me and my brothers. My brother almost died in a car accident when we were kids at high school. My first husband died. There’s a lot of death and bad but here I am.Tell us the story about what you are most proud of yourself for.Getting through college. So I graduated college in 2016 when I originally started here at Caney Creek I was an ISS para.Who is someone you are thankful for and why?My Grandmother Audrey Grisham. She’s super strong in her faith, but also very determined when she has a mindset to do something.What advice would you give to someone pursuing a career similar to yours?You never stop learning. So when you’re teaching you’re still learning. What do you hope to be remembered for?
