However, the department stated that the legionella bacteria is not present within the Lebanon Utility water system and will not affect local residences that utilize the department’s services.The department stated that the presence of the bacteria was located by Witham Hospital and the Boone County Health Department, and the issue has been identified as being contained within Witham’s water system.
