The new dorm building was finished this summer and offers 29 six-person suites. Each suite has two private bathrooms, in-suite laundry, kitchenettes, and a small common area space. The suites have two doubles and two singles.What students are most excited about though, would be the new convenience store installed in Venuti, called Gull and Go. Although it was initially introduced to students as a 24-hour market upon the building’s announcement, the official hours are 6 am to 10 pm Mondays through Fridays, and on weekends 8 am to 8 pm. Gull and Go staff do not currently know if the market will ever be open 24 hours this academic year, but they hope to work up to that point. Residents of Venuti have expressed frustrations with this, as the building has no vending machines.There has been some confusion among students regarding how to actually use the store. In response, Gull and Go staff gave the Observer these step-by-step instructions to follow:<ol><li>Download the Everyday app. QR codes for the app can be found on papers outside the store.</li><li>Log into your Endicott email to load both your flex and off-campus dollars onto the app. </li><li>Add a second payment method (credit or debit card).</li><li>Go to Gull &amp; Go and select “in-store” in the app, where your primary payment method is flex dollars, though you have the option to select a different payment method.</li><li>After selecting a payment method, hit enter store, scan the QR code that appears on your screen on the gate scanner, and it will open automatically. </li><li>Your items are automatically scanned by security cameras, so once you’ve gathered your purchases, you can walk out and you’ll see the charge pop up in the app.</li></ol>“I'd say the thing I love most about it is just how friendly everyone is when they come in, and they have questions, because that's mainly what I'm here for, to answer questions, because this is all new to them, and fairly new to me as well. So kind of like we're figuring it out together” says Gull &amp; Go staff member.The Gull &amp; Go store is not the only thing in Venuti garnering attention. Surprisingly, some residents of the brand-new building are already having issues with their suites. Seniors Zoe Cassidy, Mia Critikos, and Bailey Strauch have already had some faulty plumbing and structural issues.“Our first week here, one of our roommates was in the shower and she ran out, and our whole living room was flooded with water. We had a bunch of people come in, maintenance, campo, and no one really had an answer as to what happened.” Says senior nursing major, Bailey Stauch. “So after that happened, the next day, a ceiling tile fell in, because there was water damage from the floor above and it completely fell.”The suite has since been fixed, with no further plumbing issues.Many students were frustrated to hear this as the building is brand new, so no one was expecting it to have problems so soon. The girls also complained about poor paint jobs on the walls, though they do enjoy the private washer and dryer provided in each suite of Venuti. Students will have to wait and see if any further problems occur in the new Venuti hall.Despite the plumbing issues, residents of Venuti are enjoying their light-filled suites and brand-new study rooms scattered throughout the building.</div></body>
