Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center

You can never go wrong with staying at a Four Seasons property, and this one in Philadelphia is a true gem. Tucked away in the Comcast Center, the second-tallest building in the city, the Four Seasons is one of the most expensive in the state but also offers the best experience. Rates start at $900 a night.

The rooms in this hotel are incredible. The skyline corner suite has a living room, an oversized bathroom, and skyline views. There’s also the grand cityscape room and landmark rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows. The presidential suite might be your preference if you have a large group. It has multiple rooms, offering over 2,100 square feet of space.

Amenities here are not skimped on, either. The Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia has a world-famous infinity pool that affords views of the whole city. And with a world-class hotel comes world-class dining. Enjoy a meal at the extravagant and scrumptious Jean-Georges, or grab a coffee and pastry at the Vernick Coffee Bar. There’s also Vernick Fish, an oyster bar and seafood restaurant, and the Skyhigh cocktail lounge.

Nemacolin

You might feel like you’re in a whole ‘nother world while staying at the Nemacolin resort in Farmington. This Disneyland-type resort has hotels and activities for everyone (and pets!) on 2,200 acres of land in the Laurel Highlands of southwestern Pennsylvania.

With five different places to stay , you’ll certainly find the perfect place to call your temporary home. The Chateau, Falling Rock, The Homes, The Estates, and The Grand Lounge are all incredibly elegant, and depending on what you want in your room, rates start around $600.

Nemacolin offers championship golf courses, an incredible spa and wellness center, fly fishing, snow sports, shopping, wildlife experiences, art tours, and more. It also has 10 places to grab a bite to eat, from seafood to burgers, and several bars.

The Lodge at Woodloch

The Lodge at Woodloch is another resort where you’ll feel the world melt away. You’re surrounded by nature at this hotel in Lawley, and they cater to that with their amenities.

Rooms start at close to $500 per night but can go as high as $1,100. You have a number of choices, from the veranda classic standard room to the junior deluxe. Each room here offers a private veranda, an oversized marble shower, beds with triple sheeting, and a rosemary mint bath.

Amenities include a huge fitness center that hosts yoga and pilates classes plus vibrational sound therapy, and tai chi classes. You can visit an animal sanctuary, or enjoy archery, biking, fishing, hiking, garden programs, disk golf, hatchet throwing, stand-up paddle boarding, and more. There’s also an adventure sports area with a climbing wall, ice skating, and a shooting barn.

The Rittenhouse Hotel

The Rittenhouse Hotel in downtown Philadelphia is one of the more affordable luxury options at around $350 per night. Named for the park it sits on, Rittenhouse Square, this hotel offers queen and king rooms as well as suites and accessible rooms.

Perhaps the biggest perk of staying here is the famous Rittenhouse Spa & Club. They offer specialized facials, massages, and more. You can also treat yourself at the salon, or enjoy a workout in the large fitness center. The hotel also has a pool and hot tub.

Dining options include Lacroix, a AAA Four-Diamond winner, and Scarpetta Rittenhouse for Italian fare. There are four other options, including the Mary Cassatt Tea Room and the Library Bar.

Omni Bedford Springs Resort

At about $300 per night, the Omni Bedford Springs Resort is the cheapest luxury hotel on our list. This gorgeous hotel located in the Allegheny Mountains is famous for being one of the first to have an indoor swimming pool, and they were one of the country’s first golf courses.

There are several accommodations to choose from, and all of them are incredible. From simple deluxe rooms to the Donald Ross Suite (4,279 square feet!), you’ll find whatever you need for the purpose of your stay. Almost all of the rooms offer luxurious comforters, marble floors, a work desk, and large bathroom vanities.

The golf course offers 18 holes, and you can take some lessons, visit the pro shop, and become a member if you’re so inclined. For those who want to be pampered, the spa offers everything from meditation to yoga. You’ll also find a fitness center and a heated pool with cabanas.
