The West Central Area lady Knights fell behind 2-0 in their Thursday match with Minnewaska Area as they lost 25-17 and 29-27 in the first two sets. WCA finished strong with wins of 25-18, 25-14 and 15-8 to claim the match 3 sets to 2. “We had a mission to accomplish these last two weeks and the girls did an amazing job of finishing strong,” said head coach Missy Foslien. “Last week’s loss to Minnewaska was a tough one. We learned a lot about our players though. We learned that we can depend on others to step up when needed. Hopefully they gained more confidence in themselves in the process, too.”
