Ringo Starr Gives Health Update As He Cancels Remaining Tour Dates

Ringo Starr canceled the remainder of his tour dates, including his missed gigs in Philadelphia and New York City’s Radio City Music Hall, due to health challenges. Doctors have instructed that the Beatles’ bandmate take a break to rest, which he is now doing.

The 84-year-old confirmed his hiatus via Instagram, alongside a photo of his All Starr Band. He disclosed the health issue as a cold and apologized to concertgoers, who are now being refunded. “As always, Ringo and the All Starrs send peace and love to their fans and hope to see them soon,” he concluded.

Another commended him for listening to his doctor because, at 84, his health should be a priority over all else. “Yeah when your older a cold or any illness like that you really got to pay attention to so it doesn’t turn in to something more serious like pneumonia. So I’m glad he’s listening to his Dr,” they said.
