The Waconia football team moved to 2-2 on the season with a 27-0 loss to Chanhassen Friday night. The Wildcats fell behind early before shutting out the Storm in the second half.
The Wildcats head to Mankato East Sept. 27.
Volleyball
The Waconia volleyball team won a pair of matches last week, defeating Belle Plaine 3-2 (25-20, 26-24, 24-26, 23-25, 15-9) and St. Louis Park 3-0 (25-12, 25-16, 25-15). The Wildcats are now 10-2 on the season.
Boys soccer
The Waconia boys soccer team defeated Bloomington Jefferson 3-1 before a 3-1 loss to St. Louis Park and 1-1 tie with Southwest Christian. Waconia is 4-5-2 this season.
Girls soccer
The Waconia girls soccer team bounced back from a 1-0 loss to Bloomington Jefferson with a 1-1 tie against St. Louis Park.
Cross country
The Waconia girls cross country team won the Buffalo Invitational Last Tuesday.
Avery Hess (20:28.0) led the Wildcats and was followed by Jaidee Goehring (21:04.3), Brekken Miller (21:29.8), Hazel Dubbe (21:54.3) and Ezra Glieden (21:59.1).
Mitchell Moyer (17:43.9) led the boys and was followed by Soren Kendrick (17:47.6), Gunnar Gorrie (18:29.4), Jackson Klingelhutz (18:38.5) and Sam Catron (18:56.6).
