its never been the same since the original terrys pizza resturant closed. i use to buy terrys pizza at star market on pratt. i stopped buying it because it was to dry with burned edges. that happened repeatedly. its like they dont care about cooking the pizza correctly & they sure could use more sauce on their pizza too.

Terry's was my 1st job at 16 back in 1973. worked there all thru HS. N.Pkwy location. Earl Alger was a great boss who I learned a lot from. He had a huge Rubbermaid garbage can and a boat oar that he secretly mixed the pizza sauce up in his office. Doubt owners do that tho bc health dept would shut him down. He gave us teen kitchen cooks and DWashers $50 for Xmas. Was lots of money back then. 1 night I called in sick bc I wanted to go to a party and my dad heard me make tge call. Made me call Earl right back that I'd be in after all. when I got there he Said, So your Pops gave you a miracle cure and a lecture eh? I was pretty ashamed too and said Yes Sir he did. He smiled and thanked me for my honesty and said I'd thank my dad 1 day. I did. Earl also gave some good raises if u worked hard. I respected him. we all did.
