Adams County Arrest after Argument Leads to Shooting

A shooting occured on Myrtle Drive shortly before 1:25 p.m. on Thursday, September 26th.

According to a statement from Travis Patten, Adams County Sheriff, two individuals have been arrested following the shooting. The shooting occured after two people were engaged in a verbal dispute.

Sheriff Patten reported that the victim confronted the suspect about money that was owed to him. Later in the day, the suspect returned home with two other people.

The dispute escalated, and the suspect fired multiple shots at the victim before leaving. The bullet did not hit anyone, but the victim sustained minor injuries in the attempt to move away and dodge the bullet.
